2017/2018 Manzanita FFO Budget Approval
Required on or before May 5th, 2017
The 2017/2018 Proposed FFO Budget was presented at the last executive FFO meeting on March 17th and is being sent to all Manzanita Families for review and approval. The Proposed Budget (highlighted in yellow in the attached document) will be voted on by ballot at the final FFO meeting of the year on Friday, May 5th, 2017 from 8:15 am – 9:15 am. The list of Executive Officers for the Board are also attached and will be voted on as well. You may come vote in person or you may vote in the front office any time before May 5th. All votes will be tallied by the FFO Secretary at the meeting.
Other information, such as the year-to-date actuals (as of 4/20/17) and last year’s final approved budget, are provided alongside the Proposed Budget for your reference. Please note that not all activity has occurred so we will continue to come in closer to budget for these items. We are budgeting very closely to last year’s approved budget, with adjustments for expected class sizes, where necessary. We have aligned the budget to be in synch with the tax return so there have been changes to accounts and their purposes, but there have been no major changes. A copy of our latest FFO financial statements are attached and are available in the front office or on the FFO website at http://manzanitaffo.org/.
Thank you for your tremendous support throughout the year. As a result, we are close to reaching our budget goals for 2016/2017, while providing all of the student enrichment opportunities (attached) and other services outlined in the budget. We look forward to another successful year in 2017/2018.
