**MONDAY SPECIAL FFO VOTE**
Great news, Mustangs! Principal Boling has been working hard with the District to secure the funding to fully replace our audio and video system in the Manzanita MPR and we are almost there. The District will be fully funding the video portion of the work and Community Schools is covering 50% of the new audio system using your Tax Credit dollars. The remaining 50% of the audio portion is where you come in. As a MZ FFO member, we are asking you to vote for this special funding to be donated by the Manzanita FFO to CFSD.
You may do so in two ways:
- By attending the "special vote" FFO Meeting that we are calling on Monday, March 20th, at 8:15 am, in Room 23. (This 'meeting' is required by our FFO bylaws for this vote and will be super short and sweet!)
- By absentee ballot on Monday or Tuesday (before 3pm) available in the MZ Front Office. Look for the ballots and the white canisters over in the FFO Corner or on top of Ms. Ander's desk just inside the main office door.
The Motion is to Approve Manzanita Family Faculty Organization donating $2782.69 to Catalina Foothills School District for the sole purpose of fully funding the remaining balance of the new audio system to be installed by April 2017 in the Manzanita Multi Purpose Room (MPR.)
This will be a 'Special Request' to our current 2016-2017 FFO Budget and we have specific fundraising plans already in place to meet this need. The goal is to have the system installed in time for use for all of the great end-of-year events, including the Art Show, 5th Grade Civil War Reenactment and also the 5th Grade Promotion.
