Safety First
Student safety is our top priority. Regular practice of fire and lock down drills helps us to be prepared in case of an emergency. Fire drills are conducted monthly, and lock down drills on a quarterly basis at Manzanita. Today, we had our second LOCK DOWN DRILL of the school year. Our School Resource Officer was present as we conduced today’s drill, to help us assess and improve our practice.
Please note that if you ever come to campus to volunteer or pick up a child during a lock down (a sign will be posted on the front gate), for your own safety, we ask that you return to your vehicle. Do not wait in front of the school until we reopen. We will complete the drill and resume our regular operation as quickly as possible.Thank you for your cooperation, and apologize for any inconvenience.
