Manzanita Elementary School Annual Holiday Project **revised**

Manzanita Elementary School Annual Holiday Project

The annual Manzanita Elementary School Holiday Project runs now through December 11th

This year we are proud to support the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona’s Child Nutrition Programs!

The Child Nutrition Programs encompass the BackPack, School Pantry and After School Meal Programs.

We can help hungry children right here in our own community by making monetary and food donations.  Monetary donations can be made by check (payable to:  Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona with “Child Nutrition” in the memo) or via our online donation page at:
https://donate.communityfoodbank.org/ManzanitaHolidayProject2015.  You can also reach our online donation page by going to the Food Bank website (https://www.communityfoodbank.org/) and clicking:  Donate, Virtual Food Drives and Manzanita Elementary School Holiday Project.

Monetary donations are eligible for the Arizona State Charitable Tax Credit which is a dollar for dollar Arizona state tax credit of up to $200 for individuals and $400 for couples.

**When making donations through the online donation page, please be sure to check the anonymous box if you do not want your name and donation amount to be displayed.**

Please note that we will not be collecting cash or gift cards this year.
The Food Bank gets special pricing when they buy their food.  For every $1 donated, they can distribute more than 4 meals.
Requested food items for donation:
·         Peanut butter
·         Cereal
·         Granola bars
·         Canned tomato products
·         Canned meat
·         Canned soup

·         Fruit leather/Fruit roll-ups
·         100% juice boxes or V8 Fusion
·         Single portion bags of trail mix
