Safety First
Last week, we had our first FIRE DRILL of the year, and
today, we had our first LOCK DOWN DRILL.
Fire drills are conducted monthly, and lock down drills on a quarterly
basis at Manzanita, in order to ensure that everyone knows how to respond, in
case of an emergency. Prior to
both drills, teachers taught students the procedures and talked about why it is
of the greatest important to follow adult directions, in such situations.
Please note that if you ever come to campus during a lock
down, for your own safety, we ask that you return to your vehicle. Do not wait in front of the school
until we reopen.
