Box Tops Winners Announced… and Other Important Box Tops News!
Thank you to all who participated in the Spring Box Tops Collection/Contest, which raised over $700 for our school. We have now earned $2,800 this year (including the May 2014 collection). With this year’s May collection, we hope to have earned over $3,000 by the end of the school year.
The top collectors in the Spring contest were as follows:
1st Place - Allison Carrier, Mrs. Hernandez's 5th Grade Class, with 448
2nd Place - Natasha Myer, Mrs. Taylor's 5th Grade Class, with 210
Lucky winner drawn from all participants – Grant Thompson, Mrs. DeBenedetti's 5th Grade Class, who also collected over 200 Box Tops
The winning class with the most Box Tops was Mrs. Hernandez’s 5th Grade Class, with 714.
Reminder: the Committee is now also collecting Box Tops throughout the year in the front office collection bin. Please label the Ziplock bag with your student’s name and teacher’s name so that they can be tracked and credited to your student/class in the next contest.
If you have any Box Tops that are going to expire before the next official collection dates (May, Feb. and Oct.), please put them in the office collection bin as soon as possible. They will be picked up weekly and sent in before they expire. Approximately 20% of our Box Tops expired between collection dates last fall and we hope to reduce the loss by collecting throughout the year.
