A Summary Report of the January 27, 2015 CFSD Governing Board Meeting
Approval of Changes to High School Courses and Programs for 2015-2016 (second reading)
The governing board approved course changes for the 2015-2016 school year. The changes included as presented, the replacement of Forensics: Applied
Chemical and Physical Analysis with AP Biology as an option in the second year of the CTE/JTED – Bioscience Pathway; elimination of biology as a required 9th grade course and permitting students to take it in either their 9th or 10th grade year; and the addition of a Chinese summer immersion experience abroad as an elective.
